About Worn Out Shooz
We are two Bongs (Bengalis) from Kolkata, India, who are mad about travelling. Being software engineers by profession can be very stressful and we found our solace in travelling the World, exploring new places and meeting new people. Both of us have been extensive travelers and it is our love for the mountains (primarily Himalayas) and photography which brought us together. We both started travelling with our respective families from a very early age, and then we went on to travelling with friends to being solo travelers. When we finally met on a journey to a Himalayan destination (after knowing each other for a long time over social network through our mutual friends), we fell in love and decided to travel the World as a couple and wear out our shoes (and our passports) together. Since then, it has been a magical journey and 'Worn Out Shooz' is born to share our experiences with all travel frenzy people out there.

A software consultant by profession, an amateur photographer by passion and a traveler to the point to obsession - this is me In a nutshell. Out of the nutshell, I am an avid reader and a dog lover. I have been an advocate of solo travel for a long time and now I find travelling with my husband equally exciting and dream to travel around the World with him.

A man of multiple dreams ... I wanted to be many things but became a software consultant by profession. Photography became a passion as I grew up. I like to photograph people and wildlife, I love long lenses and I dream of making films. I always loved traveling and am a fanatic of the Himalayas. Driving is like a stress buster and if I could, I would have driven around the world, with my wife beside me guiding the way.
Why Worn Out Shooz
We have been traveling over a decade now but never shared our experiences with anyone outside our known circle. The whole point of starting this blog is to share our travel stories with a larger audience, who has the same passion as ours. From tips on solo travelling to
